While our high performing, plant-based cleaning products are designed to thoroughly and effectively clean your home (or wherever messes may find you!), we want to clarify that L’AVANT Collective products are not EPA-registered disinfectants. Why not? Because the EPA requires products to contain an EPA-registered pesticide in order to make claims of sanitizing, killing or being “antibacterial,” so we can’t label them as such. However, we do include surfactants (soap) in our products that are effective in wiping away harmful germs, bacteria and viruses. We recommend using L’AVANT in conjunction with a registered antibacterial and disinfecting product as necessary to reduce the spread of viruses or bacteria, and we suggest reading this blog post for more disinfecting and sanitizing information. We want to provide the most sustainable packaging possible, which is why we made each bottle durable and beautiful enough to be reused. Our multipurpose bottle is made with PCR (post-consumer resin). PCR is an environmentally-friendly packaging option using recycled materials from existing PET bottles and other plastics.

While some consumers have concerns over the breakage of glass bottles, we also understand some prefer to eliminate even recycled plastic whenever possible. That’s why we're happy to provide you a glass option! As part of our Minimalist Collection, you can purchase an empty, clear glass bottle and trigger sprayer should you wish to use a glass bottle for your multipurpose cleaner.

Our bottles are made with ecycled plastic and are perfectly imperfect! Feel inspired knowing the inconsistencies you may notice in your bottle are due to the fact that these were made with recycled plastic!

Wipes plastic lid is recycle #5 once the sticker is peeled off.

Refill Pouches are not currently recyclable. We are excited to offer them as they use 61% less plastic than our 32oz plastic bottles. Check your local city for specialty recyclers of plastic pouches.
